Conclave

Terms of Use

Last updated: May 13, 2026

Plain English: Conclave is free software you install on your computer. We give it to you as-is. You agree not to use it for anything illegal. We're not liable for what you (or the AI you point it at) does with it.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Conclave ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the Software.

2. License

Hyve grants you a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for personal or business purposes, free of charge.

You may not:

3. Third-party AI providers

Conclave connects to AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, etc.) using API keys you supply. Your use of those providers is governed by their terms and acceptable-use policies, not ours. Hyve has no responsibility for content generated by third-party AI models.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Conclave to:

5. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Hyve does not warrant that the Software is error-free, secure against all threats, or compatible with your environment.

AI output is generated by third-party models. It may be inaccurate, biased, or harmful. You are responsible for reviewing any output before relying on it.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hyve will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising from or related to your use of the Software — even if Hyve has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Hyve's total cumulative liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software in the twelve months preceding the claim. The Software is currently free; this amount is zero.

7. Plugins and integrations

Conclave can run third-party plugins (MCP servers). Each plugin runs as a separate process on your machine and may transmit data to third-party services. Hyve does not audit plugins for security and is not responsible for plugin behavior. Use plugins at your own risk.

8. Updates

Conclave may check for updates from a Hyve-operated server. Update checks can be disabled in Settings. Updates may add, modify, or remove features. We try not to break things you rely on, but we make no guarantee of backward compatibility.

9. Termination

These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the Software. You may stop using and uninstall the Software at any time. Hyve may terminate or revoke this license if you materially breach these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Software after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hyve is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
